CBC and Reparations

The Congressional Black Caucus proudly champions the rights of illegal immigrants, leading protests, filing lawsuits against the government, and even hosting classes on how to flout immigration laws. Yet, when it comes to providing reparations for the descendants of 500 years of brutal American slavery, their actions are disturbingly silent.

Over the last fifty years, all they’ve managed to do for reparations is introduce a bill to ‘study’ the issue—a bill that has never seen a vote. What a farcical display of prioritization!

What must be done?

As of now, it’s time for black America to pull the plug on supporting the Congressional Black Caucus. We simply can’t keep backing politicians who turn their backs on the vital issues impacting black communities. The answer is crystal clear: black America needs to stop sitting on the sidelines and start demanding the bold actions necessary to tackle our challenges head-on. Also, check out my website:
