For over a decade, I’ve been immersed in the intriguing world of new black media. One persistent theme has been the push for reparations for the descendants of American slavery. But let’s be real: is this fight genuinely about justice for the oppressed, or is it merely another ploy for profit, a scheme orchestrated by a new set of gatekeepers exploiting the cause?

Any politically astute American understands that for reparations to flow from the U.S. government, a bill has to be pushed through Congress. This is the crucial detail that’s glaringly absent from the discussions of the so-called new black media. Why is that? Either these new black media figures are blissfully ignorant of this fundamental requirement, or they’re nothing more than gatekeepers serving the establishment.
What must be done?
