With Texas GOP Sen. John Cornyn’s Senate seat up for grabs, former Rep. Colin Allred and state Rep. James Talarico seemed to be the front-runners for Cornyn’s seat. Enter Jasmine Crockett. Two days ago, Ms. Crockett beat the filing deadline and announced her bid for the seat. This move by Crockett, since her district has been redrawn, would likely have led to her defeat in her reelection.
Jasmine Crockett vows to build a multi-racial coalition, and that could spell trouble for black Texans. As a congresswoman, Ms. Crockett’s platform and agenda consisted of open borders for all. This brought the black community into direct competition with the Latino community for resources. Ms. Crockett neglected the black community and was all in for Latino immigration.

Former Rep. Colin Allred has dropped out of the race. All black ain’t kinfolk, and Ms. Crockett’s record as a congresswoman cannot pass the smell test with me.
