What is the New Black Media? It is a form of Journalistic communication practiced on social media and in other news outlets. Supposedly, the New Black Media discusses world events from a Black progressive perspective. Is this effective? Does it fill a need in the black community? I say no. The New Black Media is needed; however, at present, it is primarily a form of entertainment. As a foundation Black American, what do I mean by that? I believe that the most pressing issues in black America are politics, education, and immigration.
Politics, every black politician in office today owes their position to black America. However, no black politician, in the House or Senate, supports reparations for descendants of American slaves. Education, after the Supreme Court ruled that race cannot be used in the admission process, due to a Chinese American complaining that she was denied admission to an Ivy League school because of a quota system given to black Americans.
After this ruling, Ivy League schools drastically cut their admissions of ALL minorities. As a result, non-Black American minorities have tripled their application to HBCUs. Immigration, from a survivor’s point of view, is harmful to black Americans. Caribbean and African immigrants come to America instead of attempting to make their countries better. Because of America’s pathological hatred of black Americans, Caribbean and African immigrants are rewarded for Anti-black American behavior. (especially Caribbean and African politicians). Black America must remake the current Congressional Black Caucus AND Senate with politicians with a pro-black American agenda. Check me out:
